Proven to perform
Combined LED tech to target blemishes
132 LEDs emit 2 clinically proven blue and red light wavelengths to target blemishes more effectively than blue light alone:
- Blue (415nm): Helps to eliminate spot-causing bacteria, control oil production and reduce shine.- Red (633nm): Reduces irritation and calms redness while supporting skin recovery.
Battle your breakouts at every stage with our LED Blue Light Therapy Face Mask, helping to prevent breakouts, target blemishes and reduce pigmentation for clearer, smoother skin.
Complete coverage to beat breakouts
Each LED bulb is embedded in a transparent silicone case within the mask, diffusing the light for complete and even skin coverage.
Better coverage means better results— the more LED light that covers your skin, the more effective the results.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to wear eye protection whilst using blue light devices?
Yes. We recommend using the provided eye inserts during your blue light sessions.
My device is showing a pink/purple light. Why?
Our device contains both red and blue LEDs, making the light look a pink/purple colour as the lights mix.
What skin type can the LED Blue Light Therapy Face Mask be used on?
This device is suitable for use on skin with mild to moderate blemishes.
What skin tone is the LED Blue Light Therapy Face Mask suitable for?
Blue LED light can cause temporary pigmentation on darker skin tones. Fitzpatrick Skin Type V and above (typically described as brown to dark brown and darker) may be more prone to developing pigmentation after blue light exposure. We recommend discontinuing use if pigmentation occurs. Red light and near-infrared (NIR) light are suitable for all skin tones and can improve the appearance of pigmentation, while helping to reduce redness and calm irritation.
How is the LED Blue Light Mask different from the LED Red Light Therapy Mask?
The CurrentBody Skin LED Blue Light Mask uses two clinically proven wavelengths (red 633nm and blue 415nm) to target blemish-causing bacteria and reduce irritation.
How long should it take to see results?
We expect you to see results within 6 weeks of using the mask. However, everyones’ skin is different and will react to the LED light therapy in different ways. After 6 weeks of consistent use, we recommend taking a break from the device for a couple of weeks before continuing with use.
Is it safe to use?
The CurrentBody Skin LED Blue Light Mask has been FDA-cleared and is safe for use on the skin.
How do I prepare my skin for using the LED mask?
Before use, wash and dry your face. Make sure you have conducted a light sensitivity test if it is your first time using the device.

How do I use the LED face mask?
Step 1: Conduct a sensitivity test.
Step 2: Cleanse and dry your skin. Attach the mask securely around your head and adjust the straps comfortably.
Step 3: Switch on, then sit back and relax for your 10-minute light therapy session.
Step 4: Remove the mask from your head, wipe clean and safely store.
Step 5: Continue with the rest of your skincare routine.
Can I use the LED Face Mask more than the recommended amount?
Do I have to wear eye protection whilst using blue light devices?
What is the difference between blue light and red light therapy?
Blue light therapy works on the skin’s surface, specifically eliminating spot-causing bacteria.
Red light therapy works below the skin’s surface to reduce irritation and soothe redness, for brighter, clearer skin.
What causes breakouts?
Blemishes are caused when excess hair, dead skin cells and makeup clog pores, allowing bacteria to grow and cause irritation. Lifestyle factors and stress can increase the risk of breakouts and aggravate existing spots.
Can I use my normal moisturiser before I use the light therapy device?
Does it hurt to use?
How long does the LED mask take to charge?
How should I clean the LED face mask after use?
Wipe down the transparent side of the LED face mask with water-based wipes or a damp, lint free cloth. Stubborn stains can be gently removed with 70% rubbing alcohol. We recommend cleaning your mask before every use to keep it fresh.
