How do I use the RF device for facials?
Step 1: Remove all jewellery from the treatment area, before applying a liberal layer of gel to clean, dry skin.
Step 2: Plug in the mains power cable, and turn on your device. Select your energy level and then touch the device to your skin.
Step 3: Once the green light starts blinking, move the device slowly over your treatment area.
Step 4: After 5 minutes, the light will turn orange signalling that it’s time to move onto the next area.
Step 5: Rinse away any excess gel and continue with your skincare regimen.
Expert Advice: Use once a week for 8 weeks, then treatments can be topped every 4 to 8 weeks to maintain long-term results.
Do I need to use a conductive gel with the RF device?
Yes. You must pair with the CurrentBody Skin Radio Frequency Gel before every radio frequency facial to conducting radio frequency energy waves, and maximise results.
What setting should I start my radio frequency facial with?
If you're new to radio frequency, start on the lowest energy setting to get used to the sensation and then gradually increase. These energy levels are based on how quickly the skin sense technology heats up your skin to the optimal collagen-producing temperature.
Level 3 is the highest and Level 1 is the lowest.
What happens if I don't feel heat from the RF device?
If your orange light takes longer than 5 minutes or if you don't feel heat from your device, try the following:
Slow down your movements
Try a smaller treatment area
Remove any excess gel
Increase the energy level
Can I use the RF skin tightening device on all areas of my face?
We recommend following ’The Full Face’ skin tightening treatment to address everything; from fading forehead lines and crow’s feet, to sculpting your cheekbones and jawline. It only takes 70 minutes (5 minutes per treatment area).
Is the CurrentBody Skin RF skin tightening device safe?
The CurrentBody Skin RF Device is completely safe, having been clinically proven, science and dermatologist backed. You may feel a warming sensation or experience some mild redness, but both are completely normal just after treatment.
Are there any radio frequency skin tightening dangers?
There is a stop/start safety feature which in case of loss of skin contact, there is an instantaneous disconnection (within 32ms) to ensure no discomfort when starting and ending therapy.
We don’t recommend using the device if you have highly sensitive or damaged skin, sunburn or over tattoos.

Do at home radio frequency facials reduce facial fat?
No, the CurrentBody Skin RF Device will not cause fat loss in the face. Here's why:
It doesn't heat deep enough. Fat reduction requires heating the deeper layers of tissue to around 45°C for several minutes. This device is designed to reach a maximum of 43°C on the skin’s surface, which is both safe and comfortable.
It targets the skin, not fat. The device works within the dermis, the middle layer of your skin, to support skin rejuvenation. It does not reach the deeper fat layers where fat loss would occur.
It focuses on skin tightening. The gentle heat stimulates fibroblasts to boost collagen production, helping to firm and lift the skin. It is not designed to damage or shrink fat cells.
In short, this device helps improve skin texture and tone without affecting facial fat.

DO NOT use if you have a history of skin cancer or areas of potential skin malignancies. Use of the device has not been tested in areas with skin cancer and therefore the effects are unknown.

The feeling of elasticity on the skin is good. If you massage with warm heat, you will feel better and relax your muscles as if you were in a sauna, so I think it would be great for preventing facial wrinkles.
