Benefits of red and blue light therapy

220 Veritace® red and blue LEDs power this LED face mask at 2 clinically proven wavelengths:

- Blue (415nm): Eliminates spot-causing bacteria to target existing blemishes and helps prevent new ones from forming.

- Red (633nm): Boosts collagen production and reduces redness, supporting skin repair and a more even skin tone.

Together, these therapies clear and brighten more effectively than blue light alone, helping the skin to look and feel calmer*.

Disclaimer: Blue LED light can cause temporary hyperpigmentation on darker skin tones. We recommend discontinuing use if hyperpigmentation occurs.

How to use

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to wear eye protection whilst using blue light devices?

Yes. We recommend using the provided eye inserts during your blue light sessions.

How long should it take to see results?

We expect you to see results within 6 weeks of using the mask. However, everyones’ skin is different and will react to the LED light therapy in different ways. After 6 weeks of consistent use, we recommend taking a break from the device for a couple of weeks before continuing with use.

Is it safe to use?

The CurrentBody Skin LED Blue Light Mask has been FDA-cleared and is safe for use on the skin.

How do I prepare my skin for using the LED mask?

Before use, wash and dry your face. Make sure you have conducted a light sensitivity test if it is your first time using the device.

My device is showing a pink/purple light. Why?

Our device contains both red and blue LEDs, making the light look a pink/purple colour as the lights mix.

What skin type can the LED Blue Light Therapy Face Mask be used on?

This device is suitable for use on skin with mild to moderate blemishes.

What skin tone is the LED Blue Light Therapy Face Mask suitable for?

Blue LED light can cause temporary pigmentation on darker skin tones. Fitzpatrick Skin Type V and above (typically described as brown to dark brown and darker) may be more prone to developing pigmentation after blue light exposure. We recommend discontinuing use if pigmentation occurs. Red light and near-infrared (NIR) light are suitable for all skin tones and can improve the appearance of pigmentation, while helping to reduce redness and calm irritation.

How is the LED Blue Light Mask different from the LED Red Light Therapy Mask?

The CurrentBody Skin LED Blue Light Mask uses two clinically proven wavelengths (red 633nm and blue 415nm) to target blemish-causing bacteria and reduce irritation.

What is Veritace®?

We created Veritace®, our unique end-to-end production & testing system, to guarantee that only the most precise LEDs power our technology.

Behind the quality of every Veritace® device is the highest level of testing to ensure maximum results for your skin. Learn more here

What is the difference between blue light and red light therapy?

Blue light eliminates spot-causing bacteria.
Red light therapy helps to calm irritation and soothe redness, supporting a brighter, clearer skin tone.

    Love it!!

I would definitely recommend this product! I bought this thinking it would **** my **** and it did temporarily, but I needed more help to fully **** it. However, it made my skin soo glowy over time and did so well with pimples after just one use. My skin texture was improved as well as my deeper pigmentation spots. The only thing I would complain about is it not having two settings, I thought the red and the blue light was supposed to be separate and not together, because I feel like my skin is a bit dry after using it. Other than that, absolutely love it!

    Has cleared up my ****

After trying antibiotics & ****** for more than 6 months without resolution of the ****, this mask totally it cleared up. Can’t believe how effective it was, I did continue ****** in parallel but it was the mask that made the difference. Have now stopped ****** and use the mask around 3 times a week. If I take a break from the mask I do find that I start getting spots again (but just normal spots, not the horrendous cystic **** I was getting prior).

I have a combination skin type with frequent acne and problems, and I was concerned about residual redness, pores, and uneven skin tone.

Therefore, I decided to use this mask in anticipation of the “LED + skincare combination effect.”

Also, the phrase “FDA approved (or FDA approved)” started with some confidence in product advertisements.

How to use it and how it feels The guideline was to use it for about 10 minutes a

    day, 3 to 5 times a week.

When I put on the mask, it felt like silicone that fits all over my face, and I had to secure it with a strap.

Sometimes there was a very fine gap between the mask and skin, and the area around the chin or mouth felt slightly less tight.

The warm feeling was weak during operation, and the eye was less irritating because it contained a protective cover or iPad for the eyes.

    At the

beginning of observing skin changes (week 1 to 2), there was a feeling that the

skin became slightly clear and reddish.

The problem didn't go away completely, but there was a feeling that the red or angry area had calmed down.

In the mid-term (week 3 to 4), I felt that my

skin tone was slightly more uniform, and my skin texture seemed to be softer than before.

There was a feeling that the calm redness was reduced and the area around the pores became less bumpy.

However, it was difficult to say that areas such as deep scars, acne marks, and deep wrinkles had changed noticeably.

After long-term use (2 to 3 months or more), the overall

radiance of the skin improved, and I felt that makeup was applied slightly better than before.

However, it didn't even “completely control the problem” or “remove all scars,” and I thought it would be appropriate to use it as an aid.

There are times when battery performance weakens or operation becomes unstable, so I felt that management was important.

    Advantages

It was very nice that it was easy to use, and I was able to do it from the comfort of my home.

I was satisfied as an “adjuvant treatment tool” because it felt like it calmed down areas with redness or inflammatory problems.

Among LED mask products, the fact that it is a product with relatively brand recognition and clinical evidence was a reassuring factor.

    Disadvantages and disadvantages

Cost-effectiveness: The price is quite high, but it doesn't solve all skin problems.

Adherence issues: It was unfortunate that there were parts that didn't fit well depending on the shape of the face or strap adjustments.

Battery/Durability: I felt that the battery might weaken or become defective during long-term use

    So nice!

I now use the LED therapy mask every other day on well-cleansed skin and I'm really positively surprised. My skin glows more, feels calmer and I've had hardly any new acne since then. Even minor inflammations seem to disappear more quickly. It feels like a relaxing moment of lying to myself, mask on, not having to do anything. Really an upgrade to my skincare routine.

    calmed my skin

My skin reacts to pretty much anything out of the ordinary (hot weather, new skincare products, food etc), so every time I travel or introduce a new skincare product, I know my skin is likely to breakout within a few days. I have found using the mask has helped my skin to soothe, the spots **** quicker and my texture is also smoother. It's still early days but I have noticed an improvement in my skin. (photos are a week apart after using the mask daily)
