This wavelength has more recently been shown in scientific evidence to be highly effective for skin renewal and wrinkle reduction, penetrating up to 10mm into the hypodermis to stimulate collagen production deep below the surface of the skin.
Power alone doesn’t determine the effectiveness of LED masks. In fact, excessive power could harm the skin, while lower power over a longer period often delivers the best results. To determine the quality and effectiveness of an LED mask, it’s important to also look at the wavelength precision, LED light coverage and treatment time.
Despite having the same power density (or irradiance) as the original mask (30 mw/cm²) and a convenient 10-minute treatment time, the Series 2 LED Mask is designed to offer unmatched wavelength precision and coverage for optimal results. Step 1: Perform a sensitivity test (see additional information).
Step 2: Wash and dry your skin completely. Apply a few drops of CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum or Hydrogel Sheet Masks to enhance results.

Before carrying out your first treatment you must carry out a sensitivity test. Follow the step by step guide below;
1. Power on your device.
2. Switch ON the controller and allow the device to run for its full 10-minute treatment program. The device will automatically switch off after 10 minutes.
3. At any time if your skin feels HOT or uncomfortable STOP using the device immediately.
4. After the treatment wait at least 6 hours. If the skin appears red and/or itchy the device is unsuitable for you and in these circumstances you can return the device to us within 14 days for a full refund.

I'm 72 and have been using the mask for about a month. My skin texture has improved & my marionet lines seam to be a little less deep. I would prefer it if the battery was removable because i fear that when the battery ceases to charge the whole apparatus will be useless... but hopefully it will last a long time!
I have read that red light therapy can be good for the thyroid and so I am keen to get the neck & chest mask (not for vanity... honest!) I am just waiting for it to (hopefully) to go on special offer.....but it seams to be the only thing that doesn't.

Pros: units feel well made and substantial; operation is very simple and the 10 min auto shut off makes it a really easy habit to build. Wash your face, pop on and relax with a podcast or meditation, maybe do a bit of conscious breathing for extra benefit. I keep the masks in my bedside drawer and put on last thing at night, then follow with my final skincare step of retinal. I do this most nights with the odd skip. This is the first time I’ve stuck with a proper skincare routine. My skin feels very good but it’s only been a month so a bit early to claim an effect. I feel optimistic as I’ve done a lot of research and the current body is definitely the most effective device on the market.
Cons:
1/ the instructions give no guidance on how to attach the Velcro straps so I struggled with that the first few days—had to google YouTube videos which weren’t helpful. By Trial and error I have a workable arrangement but they dig in and catch on my hair a lot. The décolleté mask in particular has no clear way to attach without twisting or tucking in the straps; it is just far too big for a woman without a lot of fat or muscle on their neck.
2/ when I first did it I was trying to multi task but keeping my eyes open (even with the eye guards) while it was running gave me a massive headache and funky vision for an hour or so afterwards. So now I use it as meditative time, which is fine, but something to consider if you are buying this because of portability

Pricey but you know that you are getting the best of the best and the highest standard.
I have been using it for just over 2 months and I must say I can’t see any difference at all to my face. Maybe because I am in my 60’s and have left it too late to start with this treatment.
However I am sure for the younger person it would do wonders, so don’t let me put you off.. what works for one may not for another so worth a go.
